The salon’s design ethos takes cues from the two categories of chashitsu: “koma” (smaller than 4.5 tatami mats) and “hiroma” (larger than 4.5 tatami mats). Echoing the spirit of “wabi-sabi,” koma embodies a condensed worldview, allowing for an intimate connection with the surroundings. In Beauty Salon Shin Enom, each stylist’s perspective is meticulously delineated within the space.
